Ahmed Amin is a Graduate Research Fellow in the Secure Futures Lab at the University of Toronto, contributing to the lab’s Moringa research. He holds an MA in Political Science from McGill University and a BA in Political Science, with a minor in Conflict and Peace, from City University of Mogadishu. 

Beyond academia, Ahmed has worked with government institutions as well as local and international organizations. He has received awards and scholarships including the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship, Erasmus Mundus Scholarship, Türkiye Burslari, and the Pan-African Scholarship.
