Ajmal Burhanzoi, Human Security

Ajmal Burhanzoi is a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at the University of Toronto, specializing in international relations and comparative politics, and serves as Academic Writing and Research Manager with the Afghan Women’s Fellowship Program at Massey College. He holds a B.A. from Kabul University and an M.A. from Ball State University. Ajmal has taught International Relations at the American University of Afghanistan and overseen research and development projects in Afghanistan. He has also contributed to major research initiatives as a consultant on conflict dynamics and political development. His doctoral research is supported by the Ontario Graduate Scholarship and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Doctoral Fellowship.
