Gabriel Gomez Arrocha, National Security

Gabriel is a Political Science Specialist at the University of Toronto Scarborough, focusing on international security. His work examines how states adapt to strategic pressure, with particular attention to national resilience, asymmetric conflict, and emerging technologies. He has experience in research and policy writing, including projects on drone warfare and Arctic security in the Canadian context. His research was awarded the 2025 Prize in International Relations. As an Undergraduate Research Fellow, he supports ongoing analysis on security and resilience issues.
