Isaac Joseph Szego is an undergraduate researcher at the University of Toronto, majoring in Political Science and Public Law, with academic interests in defence policy, national resilience, and governance. He brings over a year of professional experience in the legal disability services sector. At the Secure Futures Lab, Isaac conducts research as part of the Resilience Research Working Group, focusing on the development of a Canadian Total Defence framework. His work examines the integration of civil preparedness, legal structures, industry, and technological sovereignty to strengthen whole-of-society resilience against hybrid and emerging security threats.
