Kabier Izzeldin, Human Security

Kabier Izzeldin is an infectious disease epidemiologist with graduate training from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. He holds research experience with Médecins Sans Frontières, the SickKids Centre for Global Child Health, and St. Michael’s Centre for Global Health Research, and is a recipient of the Global Health and Human Rights Training Fellowship from UofT’s Faculty of Law. He is the founder of The Wishing Well Company, a nonprofit advancing water security across Africa. As a Graduate Fellow with the Secure Futures Lab, he focuses on strengthening acute watery diarrhea surveillance and evaluating Moringa oleifera-based water purification interventions in displacement settings.
