Teaghan Lee Pelchat, National Security
Teaghan is a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in Population Health and minoring in Aging and Political Science. Interested in the intersection of health equity and disaster events, her research focuses on novel emergency preparedness strategies rooted in civilian engagement. Through her research, Teaghan aims to promote equity-focused strategies to cultivate resilient communities across Canada. Outside of the lab, she is the Senior Representative of the Health and Society Students’ Association (2025/26) and works as a Policy Analyst. Teaghan enjoys reading, cooking, and catching the Leafs hockey game.
